It's impossible to love Films as much as I do and not have a place to speak to movie lovers about movies, which is a cathartic experience for me. If you have a love of movies, then you’re qualified to be a member of the 'Watertown Film Society. Let's all have a ball and teach each other about every aspect of Film that would interest Film lovers who blog here.
First suggested discussion Topic focuses on a movie called, ‘The Town’ which has gone to DVD and Stars Ben Affleck, which I found intense with a Ben Affleck portrayal that reconfirmed he’s here to stay as an actor, writer and producer.
I'm in the unenviable position of trying to start a Blog called the 'Watertown Film Society' while our local Regal film movie complex is being refurbished at our Mall, leaving us without a local Movie Theater to currently view first run films. However, that’s the great thing about the ‘Watertown Film Society,’ we’re interested in the film you’re interested in, whenever it was filmed and that includes the Silent’s of yesteryear. I made a very brief entry on the new DVD release of ‘The Town,’ starring Ben Affleck.

Imported a comment from Neil Craven and my face- book account, and I obviously will learn how to do this in a seamless way; but for now cut and paste was it. So thanks Neil for the referral to ....Inside I'm Dancing or Rory O'Shea Was Here (as it was known in the US)
ReplyDeleteI gave Hoffa, Directed by Danny DeVito, another shot last night on cable and decided its a better movie then I orginally felt it was after seeing it at the movies. I think DeVito's pacing in terms of flashbacks was in fact the right way to go with the storyline. Originally bored me, but I was awfully familiar with the Hoffa story to begin with and that may have made it less interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteBlood Feud, with Robert Blake playing Hoffa and his 11 year fight (Blood Feud) with Robert Kennedy, shown on Cable was fantastic. A few scenes later in movie were a little Hollywood like, but this is really well worth seeing as soon as you can. Make it a trilogy and see F.I.S.T. with Sly Stallone which also has Hollywood’s telling of the Hoffa story in an openly romanticized manner. Some books behind those movies where, "The Enemy Within" by Robert Kennedy, and Teamsters, by .... This goes inside the union corruption in question. The government also is held up for the deals they cut with Hoffa and his successor Fitzsimons.

I dont appreciate someone talking trash about me on the radio that has no clue on anything Im about. You putting and categorize ideologies that are very negative and using my name in the same statement is low class. I dont know you and ya shurely dont know me. Stating them ridiculous statements and including my name within each one. Who do you think ya are by doing that. trying to associate me with them lower vibrational comments. Mike Im spiritual and dont believe in any religion that judges -God will do that in his own time, I believe in positive lifestyle and maintain that , I teach ascension technics, merkabah mechanics, astrophysics, quantum physics and other very challenging subjects daily. I do have a blog where thousands visit monthly will be having my own radio show very soon and have groups where theres more members then the jefferson county webboard. I also maintain list of very famous people from scientist, famous tv show hosts, radio personalities and more. I never judge or talk bad about anyone the only people that have something bad to say about me is the ones who dont know anything about I- As II usaully say Love & Light get it right~! Nothing about anything negative maybe you should study spiritualism and give the religion a break , your bible has been translated a million times and the words from the old hebrew to the new testament are not even the same. Talking about control and manipulation even the church has the all seeing illuminati eye. Maybe you should do some research !!!!

For action and intensity; may I sugggest the movie HEAT starring: Al Pacino, Robert Dinero, Val Kilmer, Tom Sizemore, and Ashley Judd. It's about cops and bank robbers and came out in 1995.You may hate it or like it.I don't know. I'll let you decide.
